If you suffering from joint problems, you have probably tried a variety of treatments to reduce the pain and swelling. If you haven&#8217;t come across hyaluronic acid injections, it may be a good idea to talk to your doctor about the available options. It is also an ideal option for patients who want follow and more natural approach to their healing with fewer side effects.</p>
<p>Hyaluronic acid exists naturally in all living organisms and is a common component of the spaces between the cells of body tissues. It occurs naturally in our joint fluids. Hyaluronan is a thick protective liquid responsible for creating a cushioned environment for our joints. It lubricates and reduces friction between bones so that you have pain free movement. It is also a sort of shock absorber since it decreases the impact you feel when you walk.</p>
<p>Because people suffering from joint problems have thinner hyaluronic acid and thus experiencing pain when they do activities, the best solution is to replace the hyaluronic acid by injecting it straight into the joint as a means of providing temporary pain relief. Supplements of hyaluronic acid are a more recent version and have been found to also stimulate the body&#8217;s own production of hyaluronic acid. Increased hyaluronic acid production relieves joint pain and inflammation and promotes healing.</p>
<p>Hyaluronic acid joint injections are quick and relatively painless. The procedure is simple. Hyaluronic acid is injected directly into the cavity around the knee joint. A typical course of treatment is one injection a week for three to five weeks. They can help keep the pain away for 6 months to a year and sometimes longer. If you are considering using hyaluronic acid, try and have an open mind, since it works better in some people than others</p>
<p>The advantage of hyaluronic acid joint injections is that the side effects are mild with the most common one being swelling and discomfort at the site of the injection. So if your other only option is surgery, hyaluronic acid injections are worth a try. The injections are expensive so it&#8217;s best to consult with your medical aid to see if they are going to cover you.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Many people often look up “back knee pain” on google, or whoever other search engine they may be using. We believe that we have discovered the secrets to reducing pain in the back and knees using an exercise regimen.</p>
<p>“Back knee pain” causes discomfort and stiffness which can limit the scope of our everyday activities and make even the simple task of walking more difficult. A physiotherapist may advice regular exercise which relieves pain and increases mobility in people who have “back knee pain”. </p>
<p>Massaging the affected area with suitable creams and lotions available over the counter creates a soothing effect. Anti inflammatory gels when applied regularly relieve pain and swelling in the affected areas of the knee and back. </p>
<p>Knee injuries as a result of indulging in sports activities causes “back knee pain”. The activities that put you at more risk of “back knee pain” are extreme twisting and turning as a part of game play. This places high demands on your knee joints. Try to avoid activities that involve these types of movements. Anti-inflammatory drugs should be used on a temporary basis to suppress inflammation, swelling and stiffness. You should not use these drugs for the long term as they are only pain relievers and do not cure the root cause of the problem. </p>
<p>Stretching exercises help to relieve pain and improve mobility in sufferers of “back knee pain”. Serious damage to the knee joint such as a fracture can also be the cause of “back knee pain”. This restricts your movements when compared to the range of movements that you had prior to the fracture. </p>
<p>However much we try we cannot avoid stress on our bodies due to the hectic lifestyles that we lead. As a result we are subject to pains and aches especially in our back and knee joints. If you ignore the “back knee pain”, it can lead to some very serious health concerns as you grow older. The cartilages which are between the bones in the knee joint can tear when the knee is twisted while it is bent or partly bent causing “back knee pain”. </p>
<p>For long term results to ease “back knee pain”, you have to get the advice of a physiotherapist. Along with medication to counter the swelling and inflammation, a physiotherapist may advice you to exercise daily to increase the flexibility of the joints and strengthen the muscle groups in the affected regions. Please bear in mind that the exercise regimes you choose to alleviate “back knee pain” should not be ones that involve weight lifting as this may prove to be counterproductive to your efforts to manage pain in your back and knee.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Joints pain can affect any joint in the body but is more common in the weight bearing joints such as the hip, knee etc. These weight bearing joints are those which are most at work when we extend our limbs for going about our normal activities.</p>
<p>The hip is the major weight bearing joint that is subject to huge wear and tear and any damage to this joint will cause severe joints pain. A hip replacement is designed to relieve pain when the joints pain is not relived by anti inflammatory medication and do not allow us to effectively perform day to day functions such as walking; climbing stairs etc. If the problems with joints persist over a long time without subsiding, it is better to stick to a low impact exercise regimen.</p>
<p>Inflammation of bone and cartilage at a joint will result in pain, swelling and restricted movement of the joints. The most commonly affected joints are the knees and the elbows. The only non invasive treatment for this condition is to rest the affected joint until the inflammation is gone. Sportspersons often suffer from tears in the cartilages because after a twisting movement there is a sudden pain and the joints become unstable causing joints pain. When there is a disruption of blood supply to a section of bone inside a joint, the bone starts degenerating and causes joints pain.</p>
<p>Some common exercises to keep the joints healthy and avoid joints pain include walking and gentle cycling. These exercises will not put too much pressure on your joints. Some type of flexibility training such as yoga may help to prevent further injury to your joints. Avoid jogging on hard surfaces if you have joints pain. Hard surfaces are not particularly kind on the joints in the knee, ankle and hip. If you like to jog regularly, you can choose an area that is grassy or sandy as these surfaces place the least amount of stress on your joints.</p>
<p>Our body’s vital support system consists of the network of bones, muscles and joints. If we take good care of them, we can lead a strong, healthy and happy life. Good posture is the correct alignment of the bones and joints. If your joints are out of alignment, it can gradually cause joints pain and disability if you do not pay heed to the warning signals sent out by them.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Back cracking is a practice that could lead to some serious health concerns. Most of us who are into this habit do not realize that the back consists one of the most complex skeletal frameworks in the human body. The ribcage and the spinal cord are meshed together to create a stable and flexible mechanism to help us perform a wide range of tasks. </p>
<p>The skeletal structure of our back is a most complex system with many parts that have to function well in co-ordination for a trouble free life. The flexibility of our back allows us to be more productive in physical tasks and gives us the convenience of staying erect as a normal way of life. The joints in our back serve the purpose of connecting the vertebrae together. The back joints also link up with the skull in the upper region of our spine. </p>
<p>With the improvements in technology and communication methods, we have slipped in to an inactive lifestyle. Some of also tend to adopt a bad back posture when we sit on our office desks daily. While stretching our back after prolonged periods of inactivity we have a tendency to indulge in back cracking. Cracking the back by swiveling on our hips while having our feet securely planted and by flexing the shoulder blades to crack the joints of the upper spinal column are the two commonly observed types of back cracking. </p>
<p>The joints in our back make some popping or cracking noise during the course of their normal actions. Back cracking is not good for us as we are forcing our joints to forcibly realign themselves. Another concern is that the vertebrae are not easily replaceable like the knee joint. </p>
<p>The practice of back cracking is to be specifically avoided as the vertebrae in our spine serve as a protection mechanism for a vital bunch of nerves. These nerves are a crucial link for conveying the relevant locomotion messages from our brain to various other parts of the body. You even stand a very real risk of changing the position of your vertebrae if you crack your back frequently. </p>
<p>There is no permanent cure to back cracking but there are several treatment methods that aim at strengthening the muscles and tendons. This treatment aims at eliminating the triggers that cause you to crack your back. Some other revolutionary treatment methods that use a laser to repair the micro tears in the muscles around the affected region have also been approved in recent times.</p>
